PC Tune-Up

Check PC Status and examine for problems.  Examples include scanning for and removing spyware, viruses, and resolving other general hardware problems through hard drive defragmentation and optimization.  MTS will give recommendations and present the options to remedy the problem. 
 

Additional Hard Drive

Add a new hard drive to a computer.  this involves installing an additional hard drive to a current system.  The cost of the new hard drive will be added to the the estimate at time of service.
 

Additional Memory

Add additional memory to a computer.  This involves identifying the correct memory type and speed. It includes installing the memory into a current PC based on the standards directed by the manufacturer.
 

Upgrade Hard Drive

Replace current hard drive and transfer data.  This procedure involves moving current hard drive information, including the operating system and all software to a new hard drive.  In this case the “new” hard drive must be larger than the old one. 
 

Transfer Data

Transfer all data from one PC to another PC.  This procedure involves moving the customers data on an old or existing computer to a new or different computer. This is great for people that just bought a new computer and want to move the data that was on the old machine to the new one.
 

Transfer Data & Application Reinstallation

Transfer all data to a new PC and reinstall corresponding applications.

Upgrade Operating System (Windows XP)

Upgrade current operating system to Windows XP or soon to Windows Vista.  This procedure assumes the computer meets the hardware requirements for Windows XP or the most recent Microsoft operating system.  MTS will quickly identify your current hardware and make recommendations for upgrades because not all systems will benefit from upgrading the operating system.
 

Install New Operating System (Clean Rebuild)

Install new operating system on an empty system including all windows updates.  This procedure involves installing a new operating system on a “clean” computer with nothing currently installed and installing all current windows updates to that date in time.  Also includes configuration of automatic updates so the system stays up-to-date from then on.
 

PC Overhaul

Replace motherboard, memory, processor and case. There are many options to choose from. We will also quote higher end options like PC water cooling systems and configured gaming machines.

Install Peripheral Device (i.e. scanner, printer, webcam, etc.)

Install a parallel, SCSI or USB peripheral to PC.

Install Application

Install one software application of any type.

Internal PC Card

Install an internal card.  This may include a new video card, sound card, network card for a home network or another number of internal cards.  Cards must meet hardware requirements of the current computer.  MTS can identify for customers which cards will and will not work properly.

Anti-Virus Software

Install and Configure Anti-Virus software for automatic scanning, updating, and removal of viruses.

Virus Removal

Please contact for a full quotation.  This procedure varies based the severity of virus problem.  Process may require additional steps such as a full system backup and or complete operating system and software rebuild.

Install Firewall

Setup a software firewall. Software firewalls improve security especially for those users who choose broadband internet access and lack an appropriate router with integrated security.

Data Backup Solutions

Examples include CD, DVD, and external hard drive.   MTS can configure automated backups to a variety of media types and provide customers with high quality solutions to ensure data integrity in the future.

Spyware Removal

Spyware is malicious software that can affect PC performance and increase security risks. (i.e. identity theft)
